Some information about the Übung WiSe 22/23.This course is delivered by a native English speaker (Irish nationality). As we progress hopefully further away from Covid 19 restrictions, this course will be presented Face to Face,(F2F). If some people cannot be present, there will also be an online possibility, therefore a Hybrid delivery methodology. The course content will be in LMS JGU, (Moodle)
The methodologies of teaching in a Bilingual environment will be presented, as will an introduction to International, IB (International Baccalaureate) World School teaching. The historical content will be the RLP History curriculum, grades 7/8, possibly also 9/10, and will also include reference to the changing face of Irishism and Irish Nationalism and the development of Irish Internationalism. Students will end the course with a deeper knowledge about Bilingual History teaching, the International school and IB approach to education, and the use of online technologies in education. A solid understanding of spoken and written English is required. Participants will need to bring a wireless-enabled laptop or tablet to the sessions. Participating students will be expected to prepare a teaching sequence for a topic from the History syllabus as a final test. An excursion to an English-speaking school is part of the course.

Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme an Übung II ist der erfolgreiche Besuch der Übung I; die Übungen bauen aufeinander auf.
